Convent of Santa Clara-Almería
Convent of Santa Ana. The history of this convent begins after the conquest of Almería by Los Reyes Católicos. Isabel and Fernando ordered the construction of the old "Convent of Las Clarisas" in 1490, ordering the search for a site for the construction of it. In that year begins the history of the convent, which is finally built in S XXVIII next to what would later be the Old Square of Almeria.
In addition to having the own dependencies of the convent, it emphasizes its Church of Baroque.
